His grand father Mr. Chaganlal Kalidas Mehta; who is still a name to reckon with in spice-trade. Mr. Chaganlal K. Mehta started trading in spices in the year 1900. After him,the tradition was later continued by his late father Mr. Manilal C. Mehta; and now under the aegis of Spicexim, Mr. Yogesh M. Mehta is the torch-bearer.
